The Hardwick Tournament takes place at Hardwick Elementary School the last week in February with many of the basketball games taking place on the weekend, Saturday & Sunday. Many schools from around Vermont are invited, including Hyde Park, Morrisville, Williamstown, Barre, and more. Both boys and girls play in a double elimination bracket. One MVP is picked from each team after each game by the opposing team’s coach. Trophies are awarded for teams who place first, second and third. Admission is charged for tournament games and the money raised from this supports the athletics department. The 6th grade also hosts a concession stand and silent auction to raise money for their end of the year adventures. The Hardwick Tournament is a fun place to be. :)
