Academics Overview

The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is comprised of Hardwick Elementary School, Woodbury Elementary School and Lakeview Elementary School in Greensboro. The schools serve children in preK-6th grade. We strive to ensure that education in our schools is designed to meet the individual needs of our students. To that end, we offer school choice between the three schools so that your family can choose the environment that best meets the needs of your child.
Building a strong foundation in both academics and social-emotional development is essential to our mission. All three schools hold classroom morning meetings and devote time in the schedule to ensure that relationships within the school communities are fostered. We incorporate evidence-based instructional practices into core academic content areas and are committed to providing interventions to students who may need additional support to maintain adequate growth. We deeply value all students and the individual qualities that they bring to our schools.

We invite you to learn more about innovative learning and support at all three of our campuses here.
