Hardwick Elementary School, Lakeview Elementary School, and Woodbury Elementary School (Mountain View) sports serve the purpose of students learning athletic skills, concepts, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition in a positive environment where winning games is not viewed as the most important goal.

The sports offered at Hardwick Elementary and open to all Mountain View schools are currently basketball and soccer. During the off seasons, Mountain View offers Girls on the Run. Other community sports include Northeast Kingdom Spring Soccer and AAU Hardwick Mustangs Basketball Club.
