The Short-Term Planning Committee was created by the Mountain View Union Elementary School District Board to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of further consolidation of buildings in the elementary district through four lenses: community impact, educational opportunities, financial implications, and organizational needs.

This committee is charged with providing a report with our findings, data and analysis by October 1, 2026. We are not making a recommendation on any particular scenario regarding consolidation or campus configuration.
