Woodbury Elementary students in grades K-6 welcomed Burlington Taiko to their school at the end of October for a five-day artist residency with Burlington Taiko founder and Artistic Director Stuart Paton. Students learned about taiko drumming, the Lion Dance, and Japanese culture, culminating in a community performance on November 4. We're grateful to the Vermont Arts Council's Artists in Schools Grant which helped make this possible!
