The HES Visual Arts program teaches and inspires students to develop an appreciation and/or life long passion for creating and critiquing all arts media. Students learn skills to encourage individual activities, cooperative learning and collaborative projects in a studio atmosphere. Whether it is improving personal abilities and techniques to create a handmade piece of artwork for a gift, making pottery to learn about another culture, or exploring contemporary artists to spark student’s curiosity and imagination, the goal of the HES Visual Arts program is to nurture the arts in a creative way for all.
