Hello,

My name is Beth Parker and I am the principal of Woodbury Elementary School and the Principal/Director of Lakeview Early Education Center. I am very excited to begin my second year as part of the Mountain View team.

This is my 25th year in education, 20 of them at East Montpelier Elementary School. My background includes classroom teaching, intervention, professional development coach, instructional coach, and instructor for the Master’s in Education program through Southern New Hampshire University. These experiences have taught me the value of relationship building, finding joy in every day, creating belonging for all, and meeting students where they are.

I was drawn to the Mountain View Union ESD because of the deep commitment to community-based learning, outdoor education, and success for all students! I will strive to honor all the greatness that makes our communities who they are, and build on these strengths. I promise to partner with staff, families, and communities to build our schools to be the strongest, and most robust they can be.

My family has lived in East Montpelier for 28 years. My husband and I are empty nesters, raising two active dogs and one cat. My son and his wife live in East Montpelier too, and are expecting their first child in September. My daughter just finished her second year of teaching. She and her partner live in Montpelier. We are fortunate to spend much of the summer at our cottage on Greenwood Lake in Woodbury.

My name is Robin!

I go by Robin or Teacher Robin or sometimes just Teacher. I use they/them/theirs pronouns and come from Philadelphia. I have been working in preschool classrooms for six years. I have an A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from the Community College of Philadelphia and my B.A. in Education from Goddard College where I studied School Counseling.

I spend my time growing food and working on sewing projects. I love to kayak and ski and read all different genres of books with my snuggly pup close by. I also love to forage for mushrooms, travel, listen to music, and sing! I live in Marshfield and spend a lot of time over in the Northeast Kingdom with friends, family, and loved ones. I love teaching in Greensboro and am constantly amazed by the generosity, beauty, and resources in Orleans County.

Hello everyone!

My name is Juliana Greene and I am so excited to be a new classroom teacher this upcoming school year at Lakeview Early Education Center! I have worked with children through the lenses of childcare and mental health for over a decade, from ages three months to 18 years old. I come to this role bringing trauma informed practices and experience working with school teams, individualized services and community partners. Over the years, I have found that my heart lies with early education and intervention and I am so excited to bring my knowledge and skills into this position, and to learn from fellow educators, parents, and the children at Lakeview.

I attended Woodbury Elementary and Hazen Union as a student, and feel so fortunate to now be working with families within the district all these years later! I currently live in West Danville across from Joe’s Pond with my husband, two cats, and our little pup. I love to walk on the rail trail, bake allergen friendly treats, sing and play guitar, teach Zumba classes, and spend time with friends and family.

I’m looking forward to a fun year of collaborative learning and play!
